Ironing Injury?
Twice a year I take down all my curtains, wash and iron them and wash all the windows. Since we are hosting for Easter tomorrow and I have 2 weeks off from rehearsals I figured I'd try and do at least the downstairs this week. Apparently my forearm muscles are very weak because my right arm is swollen and I can barely pick things up!!! This is very strange and has never happened before. Seriously it hurts to type. Sorry for the weird post!

The Big Announcement
We told the kids tonight at dinner about the new sibling they will be getting in September. No one cried and they seemed fine so I'll consider our discussion a success. AJ predicts a boy and Eliana thinks girl. We'll be able to find that out by the end of the month and they seemed excited about it. It got cute and funny when they started suggesting names. AJ chose "Muffin" and Eliana wants "Bumstand".......whatever that is.

Warmer Weather Recipe
Here's the recipe I mentioned in my post from earlier this week.
Ingredients:
3/4 box of any pasta (I usually use angel hair or the one that looks like my hair)
Small container of pesto (or you can make your own)
2 chopped tomatoes
Feta cheese
Mozzarella cheese
Your favorite flavor chicken sausage (I recommend the sun-dried tomato by Al Fresco)
Directions:
Cut sausage and saute lightly in olive oil.
Boil pasta and drain.
Mix both with cheese, tomatoes and pesto (you won't need the whole container, a little pesto goes a long way).
Once it's all together I like to keep it on low heat for a few minutes to melt the cheese a little.
So good! And a great dish for the spring and summer. It even tastes good cold the next day.

Why my kids need to watch more TV.....
Here's where part of our dinner ended up Monday night...all over the rug and kitchen floor, thanks to my little friends AJ and Eliana. Fortunately I had another box of pasta suitable for the yummy dish I was making, hmm should probably post that for you all soon! Oh and did you know? Small shells+plastic Easter eggs = great instruments.
At least they were cheerful cleaning it up!

Quotes from my Kids
Eliana: (as we pull into the doctor's office) "Hey, they have crackers here!"
Pediatrician: "Do you eat vegetables AJ?"
AJ: "Well, I ate a carrot one time."
